Like the Miata, the F eetwoo was optimized for aerodynamic efficiency and sports car handling.

It looks like the distance from the front bumper to the driver's seat is very much the same in both cars, too.

Shocked.

That's the most shocking similarity, for sure.

I totally would not do a track day in that thing, unless I spent some serious coin on some serious brakes.

Autocross, who cares. Arrive and drive.

The Miata presumably sits the driver lower, so your feet stick out further forwards. The more the passengers sit up, the less length they need.

Yep, you can pretty lay front to back or side to side. Cadillac gives you the option!

4 wheel drum brakes on a 5500lb car feel great - the first time you stop. The second time? Not so much.

Autocrossing a Cadillac? That's silly.

Here's what tsg needs to do...

Hot Rod Cadillac lifts front tires off the ground!

I question the Cadillac's ability to do anything quickly with nine people in it. 7000lb autocrosser = fail.

Yugos are actually competent autocross cars. They're basically badly built Fiats.

Fiats were put together decently enough, they just made them out of Soviet steel.

And Italian wiring.

But, yeah, a Yugo with a Fiat motor is a pretty fun little car. Budget GTI!

I caught a bit of Magnum Force on cable TV last night. I had forgotten about the Cadillac scene. If you squint a little, you can imagine Harry Callahan hood-surfing on the '67 F eetwoo . The fun starts at 1 minute into this movie trailer:
